Cobra stretch

Don’t go by the weird name of the exercise, it can be quite an effective one for increasing height. While doing this exercise, you need to lie down on your abdomen, and ensure that your hands are exactly under your shoulders. Then, you need to slowly start stretching your spine in the upward direction, without trying to stretch further than you’re able to, as this may lead to some complications. You need to be in that stretched position preferably for around 15 – 30 seconds or so, less if you can’t take it. Also, you need to breathe rather slowly and softly while doing this exercise.

Simple stretching

Though the name of this exercise includes the word simple, it can achieve pretty extraordinary results. This exercise involves sitting straight on the floor with your legs outstretched, and trying to reach the toes. If you can’t reach your toes, you need to try going as close as you can. Then, without changing the position of your hands, stretch them towards you, eventually stretching them as far back as you can. Try to stay in that particular position for around 25 to 50 seconds if possible.

What it helps do, in simple words, is increase the length of your spine. This, in turn, helps you grow taller.

Pelvic shift

This exercise aims to increase the length of your lower spine and hips, which may bring about a surprisingly positive effect on your overall height. You need to follow the below given steps to do this exercise:

  • Sleep on the floor with both your arms and shoulders resting on the ground.
  • Bend your knees and bring your feet closer towards your hips.
  • Slowly move your pelvis in the upward direction, putting all the pressure on your feet, arms, and shoulders.
  • Try to stay in the position for 20 seconds.
  • Repeat the exercise as many times as you can. However, stop immediately if you feel any kind of pain.
